A 10-year-old schoolgirl from Northumberland, Ella Palmer, who has been affected alopecia universalis, has regained her confidence thanks to a new “hair system.” Ella lost her hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes around two-and-a-half years ago. However, she recently revealed her new hair in an emotional TikTok video. The hair system was designed Rob Wood, a hair stylist and TikTok influencer from Seaham. Ella’s reaction to her new hair was one of speechless awe. She said that it made her feel confident and was easy to wear.

Ella also received a mini makeover from makeup artists Amanda Bell, who provided her with new eyelashes and eyebrows. Ella’s mother, Sarah Palmer, described the transformation as “blown away,” and expressed her gratitude to Rob and Amanda for making Ella feel special. Sarah also shared the challenges Ella faced as a young child dealing with the emotional impact of hair loss.

The hair system, provided Novo Cabelo, is a non-surgical hair transformation option that aims to normalize hair systems. Rob Wood, director at Novo Cabelo, expressed his motivation to support Ella’s desire to live without fear of her wig falling off during activities like cartwheels. This experience with Ella has opened up new possibilities for the company to make a positive impact on the lives of children.

Novo Cabelo primarily serves a male client base affected male balding but has seen increased demand from other groups, such as women, cancer patients, and the transgender community. The company was recognized as one of the top hairdressing influencers and a social stylist of the year finalist at the British Hairdressing Business Awards.
